“Deep clean” is the most misused phrase in the industry. Some companies mean “we also wipe the baseboards,” others mean a six-hour top-to-bottom reset. Here is exactly what each service covers with us, and a simple rule for choosing.

What a regular (standard) clean includes

A standard clean is maintenance. It keeps a home that is already in decent shape looking and feeling clean. It covers every room, but only the surfaces you touch and see every day.

  • Kitchen: counters, stovetop, outside of appliances, sink, cabinet fronts, floor
  • Bathrooms: toilet, shower and tub, sink and vanity, mirrors, floor
  • Bedrooms and living areas: dusting reachable surfaces, making beds, vacuuming and mopping
  • Whole home: trash emptied, light switches and door handles wiped, tidying of clutter that's in the way

What a deep clean adds

A deep clean gets to the places a standard clean skips because they don't need attention every week. It takes roughly twice as long, which is why it costs more.

  • Baseboards, door frames, window sills and ledges
  • Inside the oven, inside the fridge, and behind and under movable appliances
  • Cabinet and drawer fronts scrubbed, and cabinet interiors on request
  • Grout, tile and fixtures descaled; shower doors detailed
  • Ceiling fans, vents, light fixtures and high dusting
  • Blinds and interior windows
  • Walls spot-cleaned for scuffs and fingerprints

The simple rule

If it has been more than two months since a professional clean, or you can name a spot that bothers you (the oven, the grout, the dust on the fan blades), book a deep clean. If your home was deep-cleaned recently and you just want to keep it there, book a standard clean on a schedule.

Most of our recurring customers follow this pattern: one deep clean to reset, then a standard clean every two weeks, with another deep clean once or twice a year — often before the holidays or after a renovation.

How often should you book?

  • Weekly: busy households, pets, allergies, or anyone who wants a permanently “company-ready” home
  • Every two weeks: the most popular choice for families and professionals
  • Monthly: low-traffic homes, or as a supplement to your own upkeep
  • Deep clean: every 3–6 months, plus before moving in or out

What a deep clean is not

A deep clean is not a hazmat job or a hoarding cleanup, and it doesn't include laundry, dishes piled in the sink, organizing closets, or exterior windows. If you need any of those, mention it in the quote notes and we'll price it separately rather than surprise you.

Frequently asked

How long does a deep clean take?

Roughly double a standard clean: about 4–6 cleaner-hours for a 3-bed, 2-bath home. Our quote shows the estimated time for your home before you book.

Can I start with a standard clean to save money?

You can, but if the home hasn't been professionally cleaned in a while, the pro will spend the whole visit catching up and the result will feel incomplete. A deep clean first is usually the better value.

Do you bring green products?

Yes. Our Eco Cleaning service uses plant-based, non-toxic products and HEPA filtration, and you can request eco products on any service.
